Tillamook Bay

Tillamook Bay is fed by several Coast Range Mountains streams and rivers and extends inland almost to the city of Tillamook. Many boats use Garibaldi as their port from which to venture into the Pacific Ocean. The mouth of the bay is guarded by Barview. The spit across the bay was once developed by the ill-fated Bayocean.

Pull off Highway 101 at MP 54.8 for a viewpoint overlooking the Bay.
