For the past eighteen years, owner Kay Ludlow has been teaching eager students the fine art of Tole painting from her beautiful shop on the Oregon coast. Kay is a nationally-known tole painter, as well as the author of a book on the subject.
The Tole Tree is located just north of Yachats on Hwy 101, and is a delight for both experienced artists and novices alike. Gift shoppers and home decorators should definately stop in, as there is no finer collection of hand-painted wooden treasures on the coast.
Students come from all over the continent for the Summer Seminar, and June-August classes fill up as early as February. Please call for info.
