Twin Ponds Trail

The Twin Ponds Trail follows the route of the 1864 Fort Klamath-Jacksonville Military Wagon Road, which winds through gentle rolling terrain supporting stands of mostly lodgepole pine. The trail travels along the southwestern shore of Squaw Lake and then joins the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail. The Twin Ponds Trail is open to horses and hikers, and is accessible June through October.
