In 1850, pioneer Peter Britt established Valley View Vineyard, the Northwest's first winery, in the Rogue Valley. In 1971 the Wisnovsky family moved to Oregon in search of the ideal location to grow winegrapes. They rediscovered this unique region and planted 26 acres in the beautiful Applegate Valley of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shardonnay and Merlot. The Applegate is one of the warmest, driest and highest valleys in western Oregon.
Very warm days fully ripen fruit while cool nights preserve the grapes flavors. For 20 years, they have quietly produced some of the finest Cabernets & Merlots in America.
Their handcrafted wines are sold in Oregon or by mail.
