The three remaining ferries on the Willamette can be enjoyed in a day outing or a longer bicycle excursion. They are the Canby Ferry near Canby, Wheatland Ferry north of Salem, and Buena Vista Ferry south of Salem.
Good picnic points would be Champoeg State Park, Willamette Mission State Park (at the Wheatland Ferry) or Minto-Brown Island Park in Salem.
