This campground in the
Siskiyou National Forest has 15 sites for tents, trailers or RVs of any length. Picnic tables and fire grills are provided and vault toilets and piped water are available. Leashed pets are permitted.
It is located on the Winchuck River, which is unknown to people from out of the area. It is a fairly new facility and is open from late May to mid-September. Reservations are not accepted. For info, contact the Chetco Ranger District.
To get there, drive five and a half miles south from Brookings on Highway 101 to County Rd 896, then six miles east to USFS Rd 1107 and one mile east to the campground.
