Western Lane County

Western Lane County includes the lower reaches of the Siuslaw River, the cities of Florence and Yachats, and the northern stretches of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.

Several major corporations are headquartered in Florence, including Oregon Coast Magazine and Central Coast Watersports.

The two communities of Florence and Mapleton, upstream on the Siuslaw, are both on Highway 126. Florence is also on Highway 101.
