Vista School is the only school in Central Pennsylvania that exclusively meets the educational and therapeutic needs of young children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Vista provides educational and therapeutic programming based on the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). ABA’s principles help to define the educational process and provide a structure for making instructional decisions. These principles call for data-driven decision making and lesson planning, emphasize careful analysis of antecedent information and stress the importance of using empirically based instructional and behavior management techniques.
