John Alexander gallery is the premier American venue for period arts and crafts furnishings in the British tradition. Established in 1996, the firm deals in significant examples of reformed gothic, aesthetic, and arts and crafts design along with select examples of twentieth century British handcrafted furniture and decorative arts. The gallery premises, in Philadelphia's historic Chestnut Hill district, offers nearly 3000 square feet of exhibition space which, along with local warehouses, affords visitors ready access to the better part of its inventory of over five hundred works.
