Mr. Hershey bought a collection of Native American objects in 1933 and opened the Hershey American Indian Museum for his town. In 1936 he added a collection of Pennsylvania German objects and moved it to a bigger building. Today the Museum still owns these collections as well as many objects relating to Milton Hershey, his chocolate company, and the town and school he founded.
