Newman Galleries is pleased to present a superior collection of nineteenth century American and European works and unique collection of original World War propaganda posters. This collection of vintage posters can be viewed on exhibition through January and will remain in Newman Galleries’ permanent collection. Some of the artists are Howard Chandler Christy, Haskell Coffin, Harvey Thomas Dunn, Jonas Lie, and Joseph Pennell. These vibrant illustrations encouraged army recruitment, shipbuilding, food conservation, and wartime savings.
