This 18-hole public golf course is located in Bear Creek Township. WBGC is close to the Wyoming Valley as well as the beginning of the picturesque Pocono Mountains. The golf club, established in 1967, was designed by prominent golf course architect Geoffrey Cornish. The course is well groomed with a great practice facility. It includes a driving range, chipping and pitching green with a sand trap, and a very large putting green. WBGC is challenging for the expert player, with a length of 7,020 yards and a course rating of 72.9, yet is also enjoyable for the average and beginner player with a yardage of 6,494.
