The museum is housed in the 1845 Greek Revival mansion of Clement Grubb, a wealthy citizen who patronized 19th-century regional artists. The museum fosters visual arts through permanent and changing exhibits of works in a variety of mediums. Open Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday noon-4pm; closed holidays. Free to the public.
