Lost Caverns, can be seen in practically its virgin state, the only changes being the addition of lighting, walkways, and handrails. Visitors can tour five chambers filled with formations such as stalactites, stalagmites, flowstone, columns, and others. Each chamber is unique. A special highlight is Lost River, a crystal clear underground waterway. Also on display is a colorful array of fluorescent minerals, illuminated by ultraviolet. The grounds also feature a Jungle Garden with a waterfall, fish pond and greenery. The Gilman Museum contains geological displays, fossils, and antique weaponry.
