A 450-bed not-for-profit tertiary-care teaching hospital whose picturesque grounds cover 68 acres. Crozer-Chester Medical was established in 1963 with the merger of Chester Hospital (c. 1893) and Crozer Hospital (c. 1902). Today, the medical center admits 18,600 patients and treats 46,000 ER patients a year.
