Mennonite Info Center/Hebrew Tabernacle |
The information center has a videotape presentation and exhibits that explain the faith and culture of the Amish and Mennonites. Mennonite step-on tours are available for 2-hour tours of the Amish farmlands. Adjacent is a reproduction of the Hebrew Tabernacle. Lecture tours about the tabernacle's history, construction, function and significance are available. Center open Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm. Tabernacle tours depart on the hour Monday-Saturday 8am-4pm, April-October; Monday-Saturday 8:30am-4pm the rest of the year. Center free to the public; closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
