Built in 1818, it was one of the few buildings that survived the burning of Chambersburg by Confederate forces in 1864. The building, which features an early drugstore and a pioneer kitchen, gun collection and genealogical library, houses the Kittochtinny Historical Society. Open Friday & Saturday 9:30am-4pm, May 1-October 15; closed holidays. Library hours vary, phone ahead.
