Deer Meadows Retirement Community was originally founded in 1869 as the Baptist Home of Philadelphia. It is a not-for-profit retirement community, which continues to full fill its mission of providing a safe and caring environment to area seniors. It features a skilled nursing care, dementia care, hospice care, personal care, and independent living. There are 206 skilled nursing beds with the 285 beds allocated to independent and personal care. The independent residents have three luxury suites to choose from.
