Shawnee Mountain

Shawnee is the closest major Pocono Ski Resort to Metro New York and Northern NJ. The ski area has a 700' vertical drop, 100% snowmaking coverage, 23 slopes and trails, Terrain Park and Half-Pipe, and a Snow Tubing Park. The Shawnee Mountain Ski and Snowboard School offers a full schedule of a daily group, private, racing, snowboarding, telemark and children's SKIwee classes, utilizing the skills of over 150 instructors.

In the summer, a water-fun park opens up, and Shawnee hosts a large number of festival events.
