Shikellamy has two distinct areas. The Marina has a large marina, picnic tables and paved trails. The marina provides access to unlimited horesepower boating on Lake Augusta that is formed by an inflatable dam on the Susquehanna River. The Blue Hill area is across the river from the Marina and provides panoramic views of the confluence of two branches of the Susquehanna River. Both areas of the park offer picnic tables, picnic pavilions, drinking water and restrooms. Blue Hill has hiking trails and the Marina offers paved walking trails. Picnic pavilions may be reserved up to 11 months in advance for a fee. Unreserved picnic pavilions are free on a first-come, first-served basis.
