The State Museum is a comprehensive professional museum which was established in 1905 to collect and preserve artifacts which illustrate the Commonwealth's history through exhibits and programs. 'The Battle of Gettysburg: Pickett's Charge' is displayed here; the painting is said to be one of the world's largest. A planetarium is also available.
