Steamtown National Historic Site |
Steamtown National Historic Site was created by an act of Congress in 1986 to preserve and interpret the history of steam railroading. The National Park Service tells the story of railroading through Living History and interpretive programs, a worki ng locomotive shop and roundhouse, educational outreach programs, seasonal short tours of the yard by train, seasonal excursions to Moscow, Pennsylvania, and occasional special excursions.
