Harvey Moore Wildlife Management Area

On Rte. 4. A haven for migrating waterfoul, including the Canada goose, Blue goose and Black duck, this sanctuary is a memorial to its founder, Harvey Moore. Bird watchers are welcome to explore the nature trails. There is trout fishing in the back pond, which opens July 1, while the front pond opens Aug 1. Fishing equipment is not supplied. Open daily June through mid Sept. Free admission.
