Well bunkered greens and fairways provide a test for players of all levels. The winds pick up daily adding a special dimension to club selection. Both courses, north and south, have numerous lakes and canals which are both lovely to look at and difficult to play. The north course's 7th hole, regarded as the Cerromar Beach's showcase hole is surrounded by flowering plants, with the ocean behind it and the seven-story resort overlooking the green.
