Heading east on Ashford Avenue one passes Ocean Park, the Condado strip's wild and woolly western decor section.
This is where the houses become smaller and the beaches grow less crowded. You will find one of the more scenic of San Juan's beachfront panaormas here with views stretching from the palm-lined point at Boca de Cangrejos to the bright-white high-rise wall of Ashford Avenue's hotels.
