Built in 1840 for the US Air Force Golf Aficionados stationed at the former Ramey Base, this 18 hole semi-flat course with breathtaking views of the sea, was played by such well known Generals as Dwight D. Eisenhower. It is now a public golf course. Its straight and open fairways are well maintained and cooled by sea breezes. Though there are no lakes due to the high elevation, there is an abundance of sand traps and a strong westerly crosswind that provides a constant challenge.
