Tibes Indian Ceremonial Center

This site features a 1,500-year-old Taino village, which was excavated in 1975 intact with original plazas, bateyes, and a rock ring that was possibly used as an early astronomical observatory. Informative guides are available, and a museum is also located on the grounds. Typical hours 9am-430pm; closed Monday.
