A 35 minute drive west from
San Juan on Routes 2 and 686 is Vega Baja Beach one of the most popular of San Juan's metropolitan beachfronts. The juxtapositions of sand and sea attract visitors in addition to the lush and surrounding
countryside as well. Haunting rock formations also attract visitors to the half mile beach area.
