First Baptist Church in America |
Meeting House of the First Baptist Church in America is the oldest Baptist Church in America, established by Rhode Island founder Roger Williams in 1638. The existing structure was built in 1775, and sports a Waterford crystal chandelier designed and constructed in 1792. Open: Monday - Friday, 9:30 am - 3:30 pm. Guided tours are available May - October.
