Governor Henry Lippitt House Museum |
This museum is a Renaissance revival mansion built in 1865. The interior features brass chandeliers, stenciling, hand-carved woodwork, faux marble, stained and etched glass windows, paintings, family china and period furnishings.
Guided tours are given on the hour Tuesday-Friday, Saturday and Sunday by appointment, April through December; by appointment only the rest of the year.
