Museum of Work and Culture |
This museum tells the story of French Canadian immigrants who left to work in the nearby mills and factories. Visitors tour a rural Quebec farm house and journey through the historic work day world from the early 20th century to the present - on a shop floor of a textile mill, from the porch of a multiple family tenement - in church, school, the union hall. Includes 5 walk-thru displays, 2 movies, and interactive audio presentations and 100s of photos.
