The Narragansett Towers |
Overlooking scenic route 1A - within steps of the sea - the Stone Towers (designed by McKim, Mead, and White) are one of the Rhode Island's jewels, and all that remain of the town's once-booming casino, which burned to the ground in early 1900. Stop by and visit the first-floor museum or take advantage of the roster of annually changing events - trolley tours, art shows, music (as in live bands), and dancing are just a few.
