The Roger Williams Park Zoo is home to thousands of animals representing hundreds of diverse species. The zoo is actively involved in species survival plans for black howler monkeys, tree kangaroos of Papua, New Guinea and the American burying beetle. The zoo's education department offers a wide variety of programs for all ages and interests.
