Willett Free Library, is a private library open to the public 25 hours per week. WFL is midway between two large area municipal libraries (North Kingstown and Narragansett). A CLAN Member, we serve about 25,000 area residents with a collection of approximately 15,000 books and periodicals, approximately 500 CDs, DVDs and VHS videos. Visitors have internet access.

Staffing consists of two part-time librarians plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection ranges between $3,000-$5,000. In 2003, patrons made 4,400 visits, and checked out materials 5,000 times. Approximately forty percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
