Founded in 1854, this is a state-supported liberal arts institution offering undergraduate schools and graduate programs in the liberal arts and sciences, social work, education, and human development. There are 3 undergraduate schools and 1 graduate school. The 125 acre campus is in a suburban area 50 miles southwest of Boston. Including residence halls, there are 26 buildings.
