Roger Williams Park offers many attractions, including a carousel, paddle boats, a Children's Nature Center, the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium, and a zoo. The park is situated on 430 acres which includes eight lakes and one pond. Roger Williams Park Zoo has a collection of 450 animals and birds for public viewing. The third oldest zoo in the Nation and the first accredited zoo in new England, Roger Williams Park Zoo attracts more than 650,000 visitors annually.
