The Charleston Area Convention Center offers a large amount of meeting space. The pre-function space connects to the ballroom, the performing arts Theater, and meeting rooms. Indoor connectors attach the North Charleston Coliseum and The Embassy Suites Hotel. The Performing Arts Theater has 2,300 cushioned seats, with full production capabilities. It features an in-house sound system and equipment including ADA hearing assists, in-house lighting system and spotlights. There are two loading docks; complete rigging grid and the stage is 110 feet by 40 feet. Additionally, there are eight dressing rooms, complete support services, and food and beverage services. This theater can be available for your general sessions. The North Charleston Coliseum has 14,000 seats, with an arena floor of 30,000 square feet. The Center is located between the airport and the historic district. Please call for a schedule of events and to inquire about your own function.
