Delight in fishing, walking, birding and the opportunity to enjoy wonderful views of Folly Beach and the "Edge of America". The Folly Beach Edwin S. Taylor Pier is 24 feet wide, extends more than 1,045 feet into the Atlantic Ocean and is 23 feet above sea level.

The Pier features a 7500-square-foot diamond shaped platform. The Pier features annual events at an additional fee. There is a 1400-square-foot covered shelter, rod rentals, the Starfish Grille Restaurant, restrooms (Handicap Accessible), and the Gangplank Gift & Tackle Shop.

The Pier is open April through October from 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.; December through February from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.; and March & November from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
