Johns Island is an island south of
Charleston and west of
James Island. It is connected by Highway 20 with
Seabrook Island and
Kiawah Island. Johns Island is located on South Carolina's central coast, between James Island to the north and Wadmalaw Island to the south. The closest accommodations are on Kiawah Island and in Charleston, on the west side of the Ashley River.
