Built in 1848 by John Ravenel, the Palmer Home Bed and Breakfast is furnished and decorated with antiques dating back two hundred years. The house has been selected by the Travel Channel (Samantha Brown) as the best vacation spot in Charleston. It has four guest rooms, each equipped with amenities. Breakfast, afternoon wine, and cheese are served. Among the facilities are swimming pool, off street parking, and a separate carriage house. The Palmer Home is also a place for weddings and parties. Pets are allowed. It is close to several restaurants.
