The Pratt Memorial Library offers a rare book collection concerned with the historical development of the Lowcountry region of South Carolina. The library also features Native American artifacts, and paintings, charts and historical paraphernalia from Jasper County. The mission of the Paul Pratt Memorial Library is to provide library and information services. Their goal is "to offer a selection of books, magazines, reference and related materials that will help fulfill the educational, cultural and recreational needs of all age levels in the community." The library is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. The library is open Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. The Library is closed on Wednesdays. The library is also closed Sundays from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.
