This facility has over 6700 yards of lush fairways carved into old oaks and hickories. An assortment of ponds and streams add to the environment. Length is not a prerequisite to a good score at Shadowmoss. Shadowmoss Plantation features a well-stocked pro shop, a snack bar, a grill and lounge, and locker rooms. There is also a putting green, a chipping green and a driving range. Tee times can be arranged through a number of local hotels and inns. The Russell Breeden designed course is carved from an original Charleston plantation and features lush Bermuda fairways meandering through forests of hickory and oak. Breeden used the natural surroundings and a mosaic of ponds to create a beautiful setting that challenges the best players, while designing characteristics that make Shadowmoss playable for all golfers. There is easy access to the course via Interstate 26. The course is open from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
