Simpsonville, located in the rolling hills of north-western South Carolina, is situated in Greenville County, 12 miles south of Greenville. Simpsonville is in the heart of the Golden Strip area, which is one of the fastest growing areas in the Southeast. The beautiful Smoky Mountains are only 40 miles northwest while the coastal resort areas and the historic port of Charleston are 225 miles southeast.

Some of the area's wide attractions include the Greenville Braves Class AA baseball team, the Peace Center for the Performing Arts, the Bi-Lo Center, and the Andrew Wyeth/Weyth collection of the Greenville Museum of Art.
