Breeden Inn Carriage House

Soon after we purchased The Main House in 1988, we realized the need for more guestrooms. The cottage looking house across the street with the rusted and bent 'FOR SALE' sign that had grown accustomed to it's place, appeared to have been waiting just for us, or shall we shall YOU...our guests. We purchased the house and within a year, the headto toe restoration was completed. Though the house has a bungalow architectural appearance, that style was added sometime after the turn of the century and provides an enchanting porch with swings, rockers, and ceiling fans, viewing the lush Main House rear grounds. The interior has heart of pine 11' ceilings, floors and center hall archway. A fully equipped period kitchen is within the house for guests usage, as is the laundry room. The Gathering room is a light and airy common room where guests can kick back and relax, play board games, dine, or just sip a cup of complimentary coffee or tea from the kitchens hospitality area.
