The Black Hills has beautiful drives to view wildlife, lakes, rock formations, picture perfect tunnels, pig tail bridges , mile-high overlooks, and forests. Some in the Custer State Park are The Needles Highway (Hwy 87), Iron Mountain Road (US 16A), and the Wildlife Loop. There are many photo stops, picnic areas, walking trails, creeks, and rocks to climb. Maps of these and more roads are available at the Custer Chamber.
