Irene

Sitting on Hwy 46 northeast of Yankton, the small town of Irene (under 200 families in 1990), exists in three counties, Yankton County, Turner County, and Clay County. In Dakota Heritage & Lakes Region, Irene calls itself "The Village in the Valley."
