Reverend Martin Bieber Public Library, serving an area of 580 residents, has a collection of 7,800 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 72 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials, as well as 200 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes. Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $2,500. Patrons make 2,400 visits annually, and check out materials 4,600 times. Twenty-nine percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
