Presho Public Library, serving an area of 580 residents, has a collection of 8,800 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 10 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials105 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes. Internet terminals are available for use by the general public. Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $500. Patrons make 2,500 visits annually, and check out materials 2,200 times. Forty-six percent of all check-outs are children's materials.

Sully County Fair Onida SD August9-12 kicking off the fair with a parade through Onida on Thursday, at 6:27 p.m. The parade will end up at the fairgrounds where we will be having cake, refreshments and music.
