With no current residents, Spokane is under supervisory control of the National Parks System. Spokane Mine buildings, schoolhouse, water tower, miners' cabins and the mill are there. Some buildings are fallen in, but a few, including the mill, are still standing.
Spokane lies southeast of Keystone and is gated to keep out vehicles, but ghost town buffs can walk or take horses or bicycles through a smaller gate.
