The Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science opened June 1, 1999. The facility is located in the former Washington High School in historic downtown Sioux Falls, and is the region's newest and largest cultural and entertainment center. The Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science includes the Husby Performing Arts Center, the Kirby Science Discovery Center and its Wells Fargo CineDome Theater, the Visual Arts Center, the Discovery Store and Leonardo's Cafe.
